Last year was tough on one of Australia's and the World's most dominant Bodyboarders. Diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, Ryan was forced to rethink his future within the sport. With the full support of his family and sponsors, 2009 will see a selective return to the competitive arena but most of Ryan's focus being directed to tearing the bag out of secluded locations around the globe. With more time to focus on things, Ryan has been in constant communication with long time shaper Todd Quigley. Celebrating a decade of rider/shaper collaboration, the 2009 Hardy range is one of the finest ever crafted and rightly earns a place in the annals of bodyboard design history. New for 2009, the Versus Artist Project (VSAP) brings Ryan together with underground Sydney artist Trent Whitehead. The exclusive board graphic further sets these boards apart from the rest.

This board features Extruded PP core, wave cushion pro PE 8lb deck skin, surlyn slick, crescent tail, Hardy contoured deck, 2x react stringers, slick bulbs, nose and tail bumpers, 60/40 double rails and graduated channels.

In 1999 Nick Mesritz created NMD stox. His mission was to design and shape a stock line of bodyboards with a custom board mindset, working with the best riders and materials to give the modern day rider a truly high performance product. During his formative years Mez played a key role in the training of four prominent shapers.
